Refund Policy

UnitLync is a cloud-based SaaS (Software as a Service) subscription product. This policy describes our approach to refunds, cancellations, and billing cycles.
1. Subscription Model
UnitLync subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. Your subscription renews automatically at the start of each billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand. Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com) on behalf of UnitLync. Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for all transactions.
2. Free Plan
The Free plan is available at no cost and does not require a payment method. No charges apply, and this refund policy does not affect Free plan users.
3. Right to Cancel — 14-Day Refund Window
Your consumer right to cancel
If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel your subscription and receive a full refund within 14 days of your initial purchase, without giving any reason. This right applies to your first subscription only and does not apply to each automatic renewal.
3.1 How to Request a Refund
To exercise your right to cancel within the 14-day window, contact us at support@unitlync.com before the 14-day period expires. You do not need to provide a reason.
3.2 Reimbursement
We will reimburse all payments received from you without undue delay, and no later than 14 days after we receive your cancellation request. Reimbursement will be made using the same payment method you used for the original transaction. You will not incur any fees as a result of the reimbursement.
Note on renewals: Subscription payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy (lemonsqueezy.com), who acts as the Merchant of Record. Refunds for any transaction are ultimately subject to Lemon Squeezy's Terms.
4. Cancellation Policy
You may cancel your UnitLync subscription at any time by:
- Navigating to Account Settings → Billing → Cancel Subscription, or
- Contacting us at support@unitlync.com
Upon cancellation:
- Your subscription remains active until the end of the current billing period
- You will not be charged again
- Your account will revert to the Free plan at the end of the period
- Your data will be retained for 90 days, during which you can export it or reactivate your subscription
5. Billing Cycle
- Subscriptions are billed monthly, on the same calendar day each month (the date you first subscribed).
- If your billing date falls on a day that does not exist in a given month (e.g., the 31st), your billing date will default to the last day of that month.
- You will receive an email receipt from Lemon Squeezy after each successful charge.
6. Failed Payments
If a payment fails:
- We will notify you by email and prompt you to update your payment method.
- After 3 failed attempts over a reasonable grace period, your paid subscription may be downgraded to the Free plan.
- Reactivation is available at any time by updating your payment details and resubscribing.
7. Disputes
If you wish to dispute a charge, please contact us at support@unitlync.com before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card provider. We are committed to resolving billing issues promptly and fairly.
Chargebacks initiated without prior contact may result in account suspension while the dispute is being investigated.
